Salted chocolate nut-butter stuffed dates

Ingredients

  • Organic, Pitted Medjool Dates

  • Nut Butter (you’ll need about 1 large tsp per date)

    • I use Peanut or Almond Butter but my nut-free partner uses Sunflower Butter

  • Dark Chocolate Morsels (you need about 1/2 cup)

    • I use bittersweet dark chocolate chips or Theo’s dark chocolate bars

  • Sea Salt Flakes

MAKE

  • Spread the dates out on a baking sheet and gently spread them open enough to fit nut butter inside

  • Spoon nut butter into center of the dates

  • Melt chocolate (I usually microwave for about 2 min)

  • Dunk nut butter filled dates in the chocolate (make sure to roll them around so you get all the chocolate benefits)

  • Once chocolate covered, place dates back on baking sheet

  • Generously sprinkle the dates with sea salt flakes

  • Pop in the freezer for 30+ minutes and keep them there all week for a sweet treat!
